Pedagogy, which we often think of with children, is the method and practice of teaching, while andragogy is the art and science of helping adults learn. This presentation will look at andragogy and other adult learning theories to understand how and why adults participate in learning, and will include examples from Behavioral Health Nutrition practice areas. Knowing about adult learning theories can help us to counsel and educate our clients or other adults, and help them engage in learning and enjoy the process. efinitions: Knowledge & learning
